San Diego Greeting Cards - Mormon Temple - The San Diego Mormon Temple is one of only 54 Temples worldwide for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The 60,000 square foot Temple sits on a lushly landscaped, eight-acre site just off the 5 freeway in La Jolla and is a distinctive landmark for San Diego, having received several awards. The building consists of over 100 rooms and the interior is sculpted with geometric ceiling patterns. Warm white marble and gold-leafed patterns are some of the materials contributing to the elegant and pristine interior.
